Gaming. A 30+ year old medium, in a constant state of flux. The gaming industry has gone through multitudes of changes, and even suffered one purported “crash” in the mid 80s, although someone forgot to tell Europe, since it kept on thriving there. It all started with bedroom coders defining its shape, and has since morphed into a multi-billion dollar industry run by mega-corporations.
Over the last few years, things have started to take a turn. Small studios are more and more visibly making a mark on the gaming zeitgeist in ways that risk-averse listed companies can only dream of. We are seeing new funding models, new platforms and new genres.
And that is what this site is about.
Articles will be mostly editorial, try to be factually correct, and all opinions based on some kind of available data or information. The top goal will not be news, however we’ll write about anything new and interesting.
